Seattle Series: Shopping in the City

For shopping of course there is Pike Place Market.

If you walk away from Pike Place you will find many stores for shopping!

There are some department stores like Macy's and Nordstroms. As well as some discount shops like Nordstrom Rack. Or you can find some nice boutiques that are unique to Seattle.

I highly recommend that you take the time to walk around Seattle, so you can find the many different shops.

The main shopping area is located in Westlake Center and most of the popular shops are either inside or close by to this mall. If you want to experience eating in the mall Food Court you can go to the top floor of Westlake Center. But, if you want to eat good food I recommend you find a restaurant or cafe outside of the mall.

Here is a look at the main street in front of Westlake Center. As you can see it is where most of the people are. If you are interested in people watching this is also the area to do that. There are a variety of interesting people walking around this location.

Across the street from Westlake Center I found this clothing store. They decorated their store with antique sewing machines and old warehouse style sewing machines. The clothes were beautiful, but I have to admit I was in there for the decoration!

Who wouldn't want to see a rack of giant spools next to the clothing rack?

I hope you have a chance to visit Seattle or that I at least was able to give you a nice glimpse into this wonderful city. It will always be one of my favorite cities!
